Project: Branding the Species
Project: Branding the Species
The following are clips of my research for Branding the Species. You can see the first trains of thought here:
DMA Brand Lab II Blog

How am I going to do this? I have no idea.
For those unfamiliar, I study both Design and Linguistics. I love languages, and the idea of languages, and the idea that languages are a representation of culture. However, a lot of what I know is purely academic and I'm struggling with a way to make languages interesting, or presentable/projectable, to everyone. Not just people, but also to other beings, terrestrial and not.
I think that an inherent thought that all people have, regardless of their culture, is that they exist. Perhaps they don't really think about it too much, but it's the most fundamental concept to humans, I think: the conscious knowledge that in the spectra of things that exist, they (or their conscience, perhaps) exist.

I forgot to mention that I was heavily influenced by The Lighthouse Project and the entry on Esperanto from the Voyager Update project.
