for about two years allready, I'm trying to focus on pure shape in my work. basically ignoring colours and textures, I seek the way how to say something only with it's shape: no matter if it's logotype, architecture or other type of design. in case of typography and logotypes - the form turns into function, an abstract way of expression of certain feeling, emotion, opinion or style of course. as for architecture: the good realtionship ship between form and function is even more cruitial here of course, and "finding" it is by far harder and more tricky... but still, I strongly beleave that some principles of graphic design and logodesign may be and should be over-taken by architecture, in orded to somehow find the way how to create beautiful and contemporary houses in the same or similar style as the contemporary graphic design is. I believe that graphic (and for example fashion or industrial) design is mostly somehow more contemporary and up-to-date then architecture is, and minimalizing this "gap" between them is what I decided to by my main goal during the studies.here are few examples of logos and architecture I did during last year or so... I will post full presentations of the arch. projects separatelly soon.
