The same technique is applied in Breakin'2: Electric Boogaloo (1984) with a little more contemporary dancing.
The Lawnmower Man (1992): This is the last ten minutes of the movie, so don't watch it if you haven't seen the whole thing.
Johnny Mnemonic (1995): Based on a short story by William Gibson, it presents an interesting 3D representation of the future form of the Internet (or metaverse)
Descent (1995): Flying a space ship through a maze of tunnels and rooms, with free rotation on all three pitch, roll, and yaw axis, as well as the ability to thrust along all three axis.
