I CREATED MY POD PROJECT ASSUMING THAT WE WOULD NOT HAVE CREATED GRAVITY IN SPACE. I'M WARMING UP TO THE IDEA OF FLOATING AROUND BUT I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO HAVE THE OPTION OF BEING HELD IN PLACE INSIDE A PERSONAL POD. THE ENVIRONMENT/ ROOMS WILL BE SCREEN BASED AND INTERACTIVE, TACTILE MULTI TOUCH INGTERFACES. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR...
I am agnostic more than atheistic, but I agree with this video that there might be some confusion existing in religion. I get confused when I talk with my mum over the long distance phone call... how about something passed down hundreds of generations.
The most important problems to solve:
There are 3 different Systems in your Project, which are too seperated at the time.
The nested capsules look like different buildings.
It will be necessary to blend between the objects and the field.
The outer ring (circulation) tries to tie everything together, but this should not be necessary.
adaptability: how does it grow/ adapt in a longer time span to the needs of the users
spatial contrast: large central symmetrical smooth spaces vs
small complex units describing loose boundary
differentiation: variation in size/ complexity/color of modular units
connectivity: circulation and adjacencies between units and core
I was just thinking of places and our feelings and memories that are conjured up when we go to those places. In a airplane I feel a little anxious in the beginning, but then above the cities and clouds I get very reflective. Reflecting on the life that exists below on the surface. Actually I think anytime you are overlooking a city you get a...
