Below is the final composition for the emergence project. I decided to arrange the composition into 16 images so the different movements of the flocking can be seen. The images with the more sporadic circles show when one moves the mouse quickly across the screen, and the images where the circles are more concentrated in a certain place show when you keep your mouse in one position.
I decided to change the color to a more grayscale value to give more depth to all images. As the boids become closer to the mouse, the gray becomes darker and darker till it reaches black. The lighter gray shows the history of their previous movement.
