In the Final Fantasy X world there is a popular game called Blitzball that is played in a huge ball with a zero-gravity environment.

Quidditch [from Harry Potter, duh] is a game played in gravity but the players use a magical broom that lifts them off the ground and the play in a more 3D space. In space a game such as this could exist. I say 'Let's do it!'

SAFE MOMA exhibit

SAFE

This exhibit displayed shelters, clothing, etc. that were designed for safety in our world. A lot of the exhibit is political and can help us think about structures in this world that we may not want in space. Since some of these designs were made for extreme cases there may be some materials that may be of interest to use.

Diversa created this enzyme to enhance animal feed for poultry and pigs. These animals do not digest 70% of phosphorous in their food, which they need for bone growth, but the excess phosphorous they excrete is harmful to the environment causing eutrophication in local waters. Product: Luminase™ PB-100 and Luminase™ PB-200

Diversa created these enzymes to reduce/eliminate the harmful chemicals used in the paper industry to bleach paper. Enzymes are environmentally friendly as waste. Enviornmentally friendly processes are necessary for space island occupation as you do not want to get rid of any resources, but you also do not want a lot of waste that will kill you in your island paradise.

Information Collection and Use by SpaceCollective.org
SpaceCollective.org collects user submitted information such as name and email address to authenticate users and to send notifications to those users relating to the SpaceCollective.org service. SpaceCollective.org also collects other profile data including but not limited to: gender and age in order to assist users in finding and communicating with each other.

SpaceCollective.org also logs non-personally-identifiable information including IP address, profile information, aggregate user data, and browser type, from users and visitors to the site. Changes in Our Privacy Policy
