Every yellow cab contains the memory of the New York city. It's the memory of the passenger that he or she has experienced in this city. In fact taxis are everywhere that its so easy to access to the memory. This is like your laptop connecting to the wireless network(internet) which is a archive of information. Riding a cab to downtown, it starts to remind me of the memory when I first got to manhattan from JFK. Taxis are network of the urban city, at the same time they are network and archive of our memory.
